"Cocaine and Rhinestones" is a history of country music. Interesting insights about country artists, the times, and situations from which they rose.

I recommend The Survivors audio stories by Big Finish.
Most run parallel with the episodes of the classic 1970s series, while some of the more recent ones continue the story.
Actors from the series such as Lucy Fleming, Ian McCollouch and Carolyn Seymour reprise their roles. Louise Jameson is also in several episodes. They are available on Spotify and on CD

Yeah I was going to mention Gossip Mongers but didn’t as they’ve stopped doing it and wiped all the ones with Poppy so you can only get them on YouTube etc now. They said it took far too long to Wade through thousands of shit ones to find enough to keep going, and that too much was obviously made up. Bloody brilliant though. Maybe the best podcast there ever was. I’m actually re listening to them all at the moment.

Welly baby
1980s BP Clive
Gay boy Roy

Too many good ones.

You're in for a treat mate, his Cloughie impressions are something else.
Other really good ones are Martin Allen and Si Ferry (who has some brilliant Di Canio stories).

Jocko Willink and Steven Bartlett's are always interesting, seem to know the right questions to ask (rather than the generic "how did this make you feel" type stuff all the others ask) and the guests always get talking more.

Definitely a skill to it and not always about the guest. Rogan does it the best obviously

Anyone into their hiphop check out Brother Ali's channel. Interviews a lot of legends and gets them talking. Bloke's a strange one though.

Tim.

I'm going through the UTC's in order and will get to the Crossley one in the week. Like i said earlier, the Mark Bircham episode is mad, the bit when he taljs about being banged up in Florida, sharing a cell with a huge black fella had me in genuine tears.

Burr was great on Rogan as were all of the guests who are comedians. The Mike Tyson episodes are interesting to say the least.

Gossipmongers was proper laugh out loud stuff. Some of the absolute bollocks stories that people sent in were hilarious. Shame it ended. The best one they read out was actually real and it's called Space Worm. About a bloke who took some very strong acid before his uncles wedding in rural Essex. I won't ruin it by describing it but it's fucking funny.

Joe rogan has some superb guests on.
Has had a few with Graham Hancock and Randall Carlson. Very interesting all about their theories on a massive meteor hitting earth and wiping out civilisation about 14,000 years ago.

Signed up to free Spotify yesterday and watched Ben Fosters podcast with Mark Noble which was decent. Also came across and old Joe Rogan interview with retired special effects expert Rick Baker, the genius behind American Werewolf in London's effects. Quite fascinating listening on how these guys did all that stuff in the days before computers and CGI. Creative minds are definitely wired differently.
